Reclaiming the Chagos Islands
Britain is facing an increasingly bitter tug-of-war with one of its former African colonies - Mauritius. The two countries are divided over the Chagos Islands, a former British colony in the Indian Ocean. They used to be part of Mauritius but were detached in 1965 and are now home to a US airbase. Mauritius will argue before the International Court of Justice that Britain should return the Chagos Islands. Andrew Harding reports.
