Lena and Finola - Sad But Never Angry
Finola grew up with her younger brother Gavin and mother Lena, who separated from their father. Gavin was a happy child and they were a close trio. In Gavin's early 20s he started to show signs of schizophrenia and as Finola puts it "life became a bit of a rollercoaster". Gavin had his struggles but also had many friends and a beloved dog who sadly passed away. Not long after, Gavin took his own life. Since his death, Lena says many of his friends have told her how helpful Gavin was and how he always wanted to help people find solutions for their problems. They both think Gavin was a brave person in life and death. During their conversation they discuss him and the impact his death has had on them.
