To celebrate women as part of IDPAD (International Decade for People of African Descent), Bristol鈥檚 African Voices Forum will be launching a book of inspiring women in Bristol. Des Beresford has survived a dismal prognosis as a result of cancer. He & his family put a lot of his survival down to the care he got from the hospice he was sent to, to spend his last days. He鈥檚 now home & the family have had a fundraising football match to raise funds for the hospice. They鈥檙e continuing with several other events, another on November 9.
