Luisa Omielan explores some of the most important things relevant to young people today. In this episode she tackles the housing crisis in the UK.

Comedian Luisa Omielan is on a mission to educate young people about politics and why it's so important. However, she finds it intimidating, inaccessible and has no idea what she's talking about. So she wants to make a series that everyone can identify with by learning on the job and travelling around the UK with her dog Bernie, exploring issues that matter to people like her. Part stand-up gig, part documentary, this series explores some of the most important things relevant to young people today.

In this episode Luisa tackles the housing crisis and wants to find out why so many people can't afford to buy a home, even when working full time. She visits Belfast, Liverpool and Cardiff and wants to hear about the difficulties of house buying in these cities. Luisa is also looking for a home herself, so this is perfect timing. But on her budget, getting a mortgage for more than a parking space is proving difficult.

Luisa looks at the alternatives and the unique ways people are finding a place to live - she takes part in a speed flat-mating night and explore property guardianship. From bedroom sharing to couch surfing, Luisa looks at the extreme end of housing, and searches for a solution.
