What happened to Jamal Khashoggi?

Reports suggest that the Saudis will say the writer died when an interrogation went wrong

The Saudis may admit that missing journalist Jamal Khashoggi died during an interrogation that went wrong, according to reports. The claims come as the US secretary of state prepares to meet King Salman. Democrat Congressman Gregory Meeks tells us that the idea he died during an accident is "preposterous".
