US Midterms: How small scale donors are influencing Senate candidate's campaign
Democrat Beto O'Rourke has raised $38 million for his campaign in the last three months. He's turned his back on donations from the big corporations and instead appealed to "small scale donors". The campaign has helped raise the most money in a single quarter by any US Senate candidate. Michael Whitney, former fundraiser for Bernie Saunders' presidential campaign, explains the strategy, and why it is resonating so strongly with small scale donors.
