Monitoring the mid-terms. What matters to the American voter?
The Australian political observer Bruce Hawker is travelling across the US as the mid-term elections approach. He has been covering American elections as an outsider for over two decades. He is trying to answer a core question before Americans go to the polls - What matters to the American voter? So far one word in particular sums up his experience.
