Huw Stephens chats to Mr Bingo
Huw Stephens chats to the artist Mr Bingo about his journey into art and his latest projects.
Mr Bingo's work has appeared in the Mighty Boosh, The New York Times, he’s done a TedX talk in Manchester, has had a collection published by Penguin Books and a 2015 Kickstarter project of his notorious art work was funded in just 9 hours!
If you’re not familiar with his work, he has quite a dark sense of humour… He trades on being mildly insulting, and his pieces are bought by people who understand and appreciate this sense of humour, for friends and family who are fans of his work too!
One of his most popular projects is the Hate Mail one which involves fans buying hate mail from Bingo to send to their mates as a joke, and every time this project has been opened it has sold out in days!
