'I was left to live in a shed for 15 months'

The Essex village of Jaywick hit the headlines recently when an ally of Donald Trump tried to pass off an old photo of one its rundown streets as a vision of broken America in a campaign advert.

That happened to coincide with a visit from the United Nations, whose special investigator on poverty is here to examine the effects of eight years of austerity on the UK.

But what affect has austerity had on places like Jaywick?

Sean Clare meets locals, including one homeless man living in a shed.
