Stan Lee, creator of some of comics books' most enduring characters including Spiderman, X-Men and The Fantastic Four, has died aged 95.
The former president of Marvel Comics, wrote all copy for their front covers until he retired in 1971. So, what made his characters so appealing to generations of fans all around the world?
