The mum of two who's putting a smile on the faces of children with cancer
Mum-of-two Sarah White was reading a newspaper when she came across a story about a child with cancer. Wanting to do something for him that would be separate to his treatment, she decided to hand paint a pair of shoes for him. These featured all his favourite things, and made him feel special. Word spread and, now, Sarah and her team of volunteers have painted more than 2,000 ’Supershoes’ for children diagnosed with cancer. Nine-year-old Noah, who is the proud owner of new Shrek and Lego themed shoes, is one of them.
