The 30-track double album has been remastered for the occasion by Giles Martin, the son of the legendary Beatles' producer George Martin. The album was a big commercial success, and although none of the songs on the album were ever released as singles in the UK and the US, songs like Blackbird, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da were hugely popular among Beatles fans around the world.
