大象传媒 South Unsung Hero: Winner Gemma Mitchell on her Boccia club
This year's winner of the 大象传媒 South Unsung Hero is a woman from Dorset who set up a Boccia club. Gemma Mitchell, is 28 and was born with cerebral palsy.
After taking up Boccia, now a Paralympic sport, Gemma quickly realised that there wasn't a club for her to join in the county, but that didn't stop her. She decided to set up her own.
The club has had a huge positive impact for the community, and Gemma's efforts didn't go unnoticed. Gemma and her carer Tracey Payne spoke to Breakfast In Dorset.
