Speaking with ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live's Geoff Lloyd, he claims controls on certain drugs, such as LSD and MDMA, are preventing legitimate medical tests from being conducted.
The Home Office said they recognised "the value of important scientific research", and this is why there was "a clear regime in place to enable medicines – including those containing controlled drugs – to be developed, licensed and made available for medicinal use in the UK".
