Reading FC: Gomes feels his side deserved a point vs Derby
The Royals boss thought his side performed well despite the defeat at Pride Park.
After beating Nottingham Forest last weekend, Gomes was disappointed to see his side not pick up a point against Derby in the Championship.
"It's a tough result," Gomes told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "I think today Reading deserved at least one point.
"We started playing this game...out of what is our philosophy.
"Derby used this gap in our process in the best way."
And Gomes feels his side have enough to pull away from the relegation zone in the Championship.
"Sometimes I feel that I trust more in my players than themselves.
"The truth is they are doing a lot of things very well."
