Nigeria electoral commission is 'ready' for Saturday's election - again
Nigeria's electoral commission says that everything is in place for the general election to go ahead this weekend, although some Nigerians may need further reassurance.
They were due to take place last Saturday but were postponed just five hours before polling stations were due to open. Some voters were already in line and many had traveled long distances to mark their ballot paper. However, not all the necessary voting materials were in place. So are they this time?
Newsday's Bola Mosuro asked electoral commissioner Festus Okoye if the vote could definitely go ahead this Saturday?
