Geoff pays tribute to American studio drummer Hal Blaine, who died earlier this week, aged 90 - he was the most recorded musician in history who played over 35,000 sessions. One of the legendary 'Wrecking Crew' of session players in Los Angeles in the early 60s, Hal played on hits for Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke, John Lennon, The Beach Boys, Bobby Vee and numerous others. He was also the drums behind the famous 'Phil Spector Wall Of Sound' with The Crystals, Ronettes and Ike & Tina Turner.
