Football has a huge gender pay gap
The gender pay gap in professional football is striking.
In England, male players are on average paid nearly 100 times more than women. Across Europe, female salaries are dependent on the financial performance of their larger parent clubs. As a result, players who aren't tied to a larger club tend to struggle financially.
But as the 大象传媒's Ashish Sharma reports from Madrid, things could finally be changing.
