Can women鈥檚 health apps help treat disease?
In the past three years, three billion dollars of investment has gone into women鈥檚 health technology and there has been a huge growth in health tracking apps. There have been major concerns surrounding the sharing of this intimate data when it comes to commercial menstrual apps for women. But could scientists use this data in research into diseases like endometriosis? Well a team at Columbia University Medical School have been doing just that. Reporter Lauren Hutchinson has been finding out more from Noemie Elhadad about the Phendo app.
