The best in Jazz with John Hellings remembering the death of clarinetist Jimmie Noone. A version of Blues for Jimmie played by Acker Bilk - a tune written in honour of Jimmie. This year will be the 75th anniversary of his death. Also we shall have a new re-issue of Helen Merrill with Clifford Brown. We also remember John Hughes who has died. John founded the Walsall Jazz Orchestra in 1975 and has led it ever since. There's a comparison of Fats Waller's Jitterbug Waltz, one by the man who wrote it and another, years later by Bobby Hutcherson.
