Social media companies 'seem very reluctant' to protect children
Conservative Vice Chairman Chris Philip tells Politics Live social media companies "do consider themselves above the law and that is completely wrong".
Speaking on the murder of Breck Bednar, a teenager who was groomed on Snapchat, Mr Philps says "When it comes to selling things, they use all this technology. When it comes to protecting - particularly children - from harm, they seem very reluctant to act."
