New minibus boosts learning opportunities for special needs pupils
Wyvern Academy is a specialist school for children and young people aged 2 to 19 years with learning difficulties, autism, physical and sensory disabilities and complex healthcare needs. These coaches, often regarded as ‘mobile classrooms’, give pupils with additional needs the opportunity to experience active learning and develop life skills outside of the school environment. The Variety Sunshine bus was funded by support from St James’s Place Charitable Foundation, Variety - the Children’s Charity, and the Friends of Wyvern Academy.
