The war veteran using art to help other soldiers with PTSD
Barry is a war artist, who is also a veteran of the armed forces. After retiring from the army with 23 years' service, Barry used his pension to set up a gallery in Pembrokeshire. For the past five years, Barry has offered art classes for veterans with PTSD. The role of these classes is to enable people to express themselves creatively, and then if they want to get further help, Barry鈥檚 charity can direct them to that. One such person who has benefited is Scott, a veteran who had struggled to find a job after returning to civilian life. Through his work with the gallery, Scott says he has found his confidence again.
