Mozambique: 'It's an atrocious situation. No roads, no access, the ground is still wet'

Villages have been swept away, hundreds of thousands of people are homeless, and survivors are wading in water or taking refuge in trees. David Beasley, the World Food Programme's executive director, describes the devastation he has encountered in the area.
