The personal trainer helping others who are battling eating disorders
Mhairi is a 22-year-old personal trainer from Glasgow. As a teenager, she suffered from anorexia, obsessing over her appearance, exercising constantly, and eating very little. Her thinking was, as she explains, 鈥渢otally warped鈥. Her mum, Rosemary, was terrified that her daughter was going to die from the disease.
Eventually, Mhairi was admitted to hospital and began a slow path back to recovery. Now fit and healthy, Mhairi specialises in helping others with eating disorders, like her client Lorna. 鈥淢hairi doesn鈥檛 just deal with how you are in the gym,鈥 Lorna explains. 鈥淪he cares about every aspect鈥 she makes you feel like you can take on absolutely anything.鈥
