How Dean Jones plotted Australia's one-run win over India
As the countdown to this year's Cricket World Cup continues, we take a look back at the 1987 tournament in India and Pakistan.
India played Australia in Group A's opening match. Set 271 to win, India needed six off the final over, with one wicket in hand. But on the penultimate delivery, Steve Waugh shattered the stumps of Maninder Singh to seal a dramatic victory.
It could have been a very different story though, had Australia batsman Dean Jones not managed to get a four upgraded to a six during the innings break.
