Royals boss Jose Gomes says he's taking one game at a time as the season draws to a close.

The next game for his side is against Hull City, with the Royals just four points above the Championship relegation zone.

"Sometimes it's not easy," Gomes told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "The only way to get good results is to put our focus to the maximum that we can in the next challenge.

"The next challenge is Hull City, a strong team, very good attack, a lot of goals."

And Gomes says his side will be ready for the fixture, despite a challenging week with the weather.

"I think the wind is worse than this rain.

"We did two training sessions during the week with the rain, so it wasn't a bad week regarding the weather conditions."
