How art and Augusta saved a man's life

The remarkable story of artist Valentino Dixon whose drawings and dreams kept him alive

Golf provided genuine salvation for Valentino Dixon, who served 27 years in an American jail for a murder he did not commit. At the time of his conviction, in 1991, he had never set foot on a golf course - but his ability to imagine himself on one freed his mind from the mundaneness of prison life. Valentino tells his extraordinary story on this week's pod, about how the pictures he drew of the Augusta National while languishing in his cell helped to keep him alive. Now exonerated, he saw the holes in person at this year's Masters, where he also met and inspired Tiger Woods. Iain and Andrew also review last week's action on the LPGA and PGA Tours and look ahead to this week's pairs tournament in New Orleans. Perhaps inevitably given the format of the Zurich Classic, we imagine the best and worst golfing partnerships and also reveal the secret formula to unearthing your American golfing name. Which you always wanted to know. Secretly.
