Charlotte and Lee

27-year-old breast cancer survivor Charlotte needs the help of the trainers to prepare for a second mastectomy, and father of two Lee bench presses grief.

In this inspirational episode, the trainers meet Charlotte, a 27-year-old law student who is recovering from breast cancer, and Lee, a father of two who is struggling to cope with grief. Up until two years ago, Charlotte was a healthy young woman living life to the full; she loved running, swimming climbing and anything active. But while travelling in Australia she started suffering from a pain in her chest, the pain became so bad Charlotte went to get it checked out and after a breast scan, she was faced with the devastating diagnosis of stage three grade, three breast cancer. In a fight for survival she was left with no choice but to have a mastectomy and the reconstruction of her right breast. Following a gruelling schedule of chemotherapy, against the odds, she was subsequently given the all clear but as precautionary measure Charlotte has made the decision to have her other breast removed. In preparation to undergo more surgery she鈥檚 come to the Work IT gym to get her body and mind in the best place possible. Esm茅e feels a real connection with Charlotte being exactly the same age and gives her a plan that gets her Boxing frustrations and building stamina through swimming, gym routines and running.

Lee has lost all motivation and self-belief after suddenly losing a close family member. He opens up about the taboo subject of grief as the trainers hear about his hopes to become a better Dad to his two children and be there to support his partner. Kelechi is the perfect person to help him through this and sets him off with a motivational plan that sees Lee pushed to his limits and over 6 weeks. will he come out feeling like a new man, will he come out feeling like a new man?

Charlotte鈥檚 now fighting fit, but will she be able to meet her target of swimming a mile by the end of the four-week plan, and will Lee get his confidence and zest for life back to get out and do more things with his kids?
