Three generals offer their resignation in Sudan
Three of the most controversial figures on Sudan's ruling transitional military council have offered their resignations - one of the key demands of the protest movement. The three were seen as staunch Islamists and allies of the deposed president, Omar al Bashir.
It follows talks between the military council and protest leaders, who are demanding a rapid handover to a civilian administration.
The 大象传媒's Catherine Byaruhanga in Khartoum explains how events unfolded.
