A glimmer of hope for LCF investors
People who invested money with the collapsed firm London Capital & Finance have been given a glimmer of hope after a lawyer says they are entitled to compensation. Thomas Donegan has written to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme arguing that LCF’s investors should be able to make a claim, possibly allowing them to get back up to £50,000. After weeks of saying the opposite the FSCS is now asking investors to register with its website while it investigates.
