The rise of the far-right: Germany
The European Elections span the continent, and while we've been pre-occupied by Brexit, many other countries are bracing themselves for a sharp rise in support for so-called "populist" parties on the far right.
They've been tapping into discontent with the political establishment, through issues like immigration, and national identity.
Our European correspondent Jean Mackenzie begins her three-part series with a special report from the EU's biggest economy - Germany, where the far-right are enjoying a surge in popularity, stirring up some chilling echoes of the past.
