Jim McCafferty: The abuser who preyed on dreams of football stardom
A former kit man and coach with Celtic youth team has been jailed for six years and nine months, after pleading guilty to a series of child sex abuse crimes.
Seventy-three year old Jim McCafferty, who also coached Celtic boys club, has already served time for child sex abuse offences in Northern Ireland.
Lawyers for his victims have told us they believe McCafferty may have been acting "in concert" with other paedophile coaches, to prey on young boys.
The Nine's Social affairs correspondent Chris Clements was instrumental in uncovering McCafferty's crimes. He reflects on an investigation that spans three years.
