Palin: Using Monty Python to make friends in North Korea
Discussing the challenges of filming his recent series 'Michael Palin in North Korea', Sir Michael Palin described how he was able to bond with his female guide by showing her a classic Monty Python sketch.
He also described how there were certain questions he couldn't ask on camera, and how gaining the trust of their minders allowed them to see glimpses of normal North Korean lives.
