Sudan's army scraps an agreement with protesters and calls for elections in nine months
Sudan's military leaders say they are scrapping all existing agreements with the main opposition coalition and will hold elections within nine months. The announcement made on state television on Tuesday morning follows the deaths of at least 30 protesters during security operations.
