Night owls: Could simple changes turn you into an early riser?
Are you a night owl or a morning lark?
Research has established that biology and physiology determine whether we prefer to stay up late into the night or wake up and start the early.
For many night owls, this means fighting against work schedules and social commitments, which are often a better fit for early risers.
However, researchers now believe that simple changes to diet and sleep times over a few weeks can shift the sleep rhythm of 'night owls' without the use of drugs.
