US DJ starts Malawi fund after brother defeats cancer
In November 2016, the American DJ, Porter Robinson, received the terrible news that his younger brother, Mark, was seriously ill with an aggressive form of cancer called Burkitt lymphoma. After Mark recovered, he decided to set up a fund to help sufferers in Malawi. Children in the southern Africa country are far more likely to get the disease and die from it, because of a connection with malaria. Porter spoke to Newsday along with his brother's physician, Dr Kate Westmoreland.
