Congresswoman Ilhan Omar takes a stand for refugees
Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia and fled to Kenya with her family when war broke out. She came to the US in the early 90's and was granted asylum a few years later. Now, Ilhan Omar is a congresswoman representing a district in the Midwestern state of Minnesota. Given her own story, she has strong opinions on the current immigration clampdown.
