Rachel is part of a female skating community called Skateburds. Their aim is that no girl should feel anxious to start skating. The members help each other learn skills and tricks and to grow in confidence. There's a growing number of female skaters, from a range of ages, in Scotland, although the sport remains quite male dominated.
