Sounds from St Petroc's - Rough Sleepers in Cornwall and the music that matters to them

Imagine a world without music, where you go days or even weeks without hearing the songs that mean something special to you.

That's the reality for many rough sleepers in Cornwall, who simply don't have a safe place where they can listen to their favourite tracks. After all, if you don鈥檛 have a home, a car or a radio, where do you even get the chance to listen to music?

It's something that has an impact on their mental health - and, on a human level, makes an already difficult existence even tougher.

So 大象传媒 Radio Cornwall has decided to work with the St Petroc's homelessness charity to do something about it. This Saturday with Donna Birrell and Jack Murley, you're going to hear from some of Cornwall's rough sleepers, talking about the songs that are special to them - and why losing the ability to access music can be so painful.

Here's just a taster.
