S1: Phoebe
Phoebe鈥檚 life has seen her move around a lot because of her family being part of the Military. Luckily for her she has a constant throughout all the change 鈥 her best friend Kat.
HEAR ME is a 大象传媒 Young Reporter's podcast, which explores what identity means for young people growing up Britain today.
Phoebe鈥檚 story is about how the place doesn鈥檛 make home, but the people do.
In Phoebe鈥檚 life she has been to nine schools, moved to ten different houses, and has lived in three countries and eight different towns. This is because Phoebe鈥檚 Dad is in the Military and this means they have to move quite a lot.
Phoebe feels like she doesn鈥檛 really come from anywhere or belong anywhere. But luckily for Phoebe she has a constant to help her through all the change, her rock 鈥 her best friend. Despite moving further and further away each time, Phoebe and Kat have remained the closest of friends, and have a deep impact on each other鈥檚 life regardless of the distance between them.
