Emma Blackery: ‘Social media advertising is a minefield’

YouTuber Emma Blackery tells ý Radio 5 Live how companies use social media influencers to advertise online.

Speaking to Nihal Arthanayke she said: "It's become a bit of a minefield. I think some necessary guidelines have been put into place. It used to be a free-for-all but now there is clarity."

She added that the term “influencer” now “makes people go urgh!” saying “there’s so many preconceptions that people have from that word now”
