According to the Carers Trust, many young carers are still not claiming the vital support they're entitled to, despite a government programme aimed at helping them.
The charity's spoken to 114 youngsters who are looking after loved ones at home. Only 15% of them have Young Carers Statements, which formalises the support they require from local authorities.
