Aged 10, Marley Dias began a campaign to collect a thousand books featuring black girls as lead characters. Now 14, she's written her own book about how to change the world.
At the age of just 10, Marley Dias began a campaign to collect a thousand books featuring black girls as lead characters - because she couldn't see anyone like her in the books she read - a young strong black female.
Her #1000BlackGirlBooks campaign went on to collect over 11,000 books.
And at 14 she's now written her own - a book on how to make a difference in the world.
Nihal Arthanayake spoke to Marley and her mum, Dr Janice Johnson Dias.
