Behind the scenes of Hi-Di-Hi
Sarah Walker spent her show at the Swiss Farm holiday camp in Henley to celebrate the Great British Holiday.
And for most people, the words 'holiday camp' mean just one thing...
Hi-De-Hi was one of the biggest shows in the history of British TV and saw millions of us check in every week to keep up with the latest comings and goings of the fictional holiday camp Maplins.
Jeffrey Holland (Spike Dixon):
"It was one of Warner's Holiday camps, their season finished in September and the 大象传媒 moved in straight away, hopefully still with some of the weather left.
"That very camp had been an internment camp for Italian prisoners of war.
"The comedy of the show concentrated on the entertainment staff themselves...in Hi-Di-Hi every member of the staff was a complete failure."
