Meet the stars: Omar Mcleod
Shortly the world’s top athletes descend on Doha for the World Athletics Championships, so we are putting the spotlight on some of the biggest stars of the sport, finding out what drives them on and off the track.
Jamaica’s Omar McLeod who by the age of 23 had joined some of the sport’s legendary names, Usain Bolt and Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce in becoming World and Olympic champion. He admits he found it tough at such a young age to find his identity outside of athletics.
