Why Russia’s influence is spreading in the Central African Republic
Fighting has displaced hundreds of thousands of people in the Central African Republic where a UN peacekeeping mission has been deployed since 2014.
It’s against this background that the authorities of the landlocked African country have strengthened their relationship with Moscow.
There are Russian-themed festivals taking place on the streets of the capital Bangui.
British journalist Jack Losh has told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Newsday that “Russia is making ground in C.A.R schools,’ describing his recent trip to the country.
