Eritrea must release political prisoners, says NGO

Amnesty International has launched a campaign for the release of 28 political prisoners

International human rights NGO Amnesty International has launched an online campaign asking the government of Eritrea to release the eleven politicians and seventeen journalists who were arrested in 2001 after criticising President Isaias Afwerki's rule, and have never been seen or heard from since. We hear from the families who have been waiting and fighting for the release of their relatives.
