Band mental health, album hangman, pets on Instagram… go behind-the-scenes of modern music. An access-all-areas six months with the indie label behind the likes of Foals, Two Door Cinema Club and Flume. In 2004, two friends decided to take on the music industry with £1,000 and no real idea of how to do it. Fifteen years later Transgressive Records is one of the UK’s biggest independent record labels - but the team has had to adapt to fast-changing musical trends, find new talent and keep the money flowing. For the first time they’ve let cameras behind-the-scenes, on stage and on the search for new talent to see the challenges that come with keeping it afloat. From beating their rivals to the next big signing, to taking a step back to deal with severe mental health issues, join former member of The Maccabees Felix White for exclusive access to their toughest year to date.
