Ian McEwan has reimagined Kafka's 'Metamorphosis' in his new political satire, 'The Cockroach'. A commentary on Brexit and the current state of British politics, the novella sees main character Jim Sams wake up one day as the Prime Minister, determined to carry out the will of the people by any means necessary.
